The selling point of this application is the built in profiles that lets you easily choose what the correct conversion settings are. The profiles are conveniently listed by device and by format. You can even define your own settings and save it as a profile for later use. It also supports multiple audio and video channels. You can select which channels to convert and which to omit. You can even customize the bitrate, frame rate, aspect ratio and so on. If you have no idea what all this means, the default profile settings will suffice for any conversion. The only noticeable flaw is the length of time it takes for a conversion to take place. An AVI file generally takes over an hour to convert while other formats are quicker, even after an automatic update to version 7.4. Overall, this application is a very powerful video converter.
